Zachor vKabed

Zachor v'Kabed is a nationwide program, active in six Hillel centers in the country. The program includes a group of students who volunteer on a weekly basis with Holocaust survivors. The students also meet every two weeks to discuss issues related to the Holocaust and remembrance.  In addition, the students plan and execute public awareness-raising events throughout the year and organize joint activities for Holocaust survivors and other students

In 2015-2016 Hillel BGU's Zachor v'Kabed study sessions focused on the concept of remembrance through art by creation in film, theater and literature. The art holds the memory of Holocaust survivors and shaping the future memory of next generations
