Hillel in Haifa U and Hillel of Technion invite Israeli and international students to spend a "Historic Friday" together. Please join us on a unique educational day tour to Yad Vashem museum in Jerusalem.

Situated on Jerusalem’s Mount of Remembrance, Yad Vashem’s 45-acre campus comprises all the necessary components for a meaningful and dynamic commemoration of the Holocaust and its six million Jewish victims. The Holocaust History Museum, the Hall of Names, the Hall of Remembrance, the Museum of Holocaust Art, the Valley of the Communities, the Garden of the Righteous Among the Nations and the outdoor memorials and sculptures are all an essential part of our visit there.
Our visit will conclude with  reflective conversation among the participants. 

Details:

Date: January 15, 2016.

Hours: We will leave Haifa at 6 AM and will return to Haifa  at around 3:30 PM.

Group tours would be available in Hebrew, English and Russian languages. 

Light lunch (sandwich and beverage) will be provided by us. 
Other dining options are available at museum's cafeteria.

Cost : 50 NIS (includes round trip transportation from Haifa, light lunch and guided tour). 
 
This event is a part of "Honor and Remember" program that brings together students to learn about the Holocaust and to volunteer with survivors.
