Maya has been the Director of Hillel at IDC Herzliya since February 2018. In 2010, Maya volunteered for a year of service in the Jewish community of Toronto where she took part in various informal frameworks in the community through the Jewish Agency for Israel. After returning to Israel she served as an instruction officer in the Egoz unit. After her military service, she began to study for a bachelor's degree at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem during which she participated in Hillel's "Remember and Honor" program. In addition, she served as the coordinator of the Toronto Young Emissaries alumni program and their Student Scholarship program at the Hebrew University. In 2016, she took part in a student exchange at Dartmouth College in New Hampshire where she participated in the campus' Hillel programs. In recent years, Maya worked as a coordinator and facilitator for the Jewish Agency's Year of Service program and trained emissaries to Jewish communities all around the world. Maya graduated with a BA in political science and history from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, and is currently studying for an MA in government at IDC Herzliya.
My name is Daniel Landau, Im a 2nd year student in IDC, majoring in Accounting. I got to meet Hillel last year, and I loved it instantly. I'm the Shabbat and Holidays Coordintaor, and really looking forward for the upcoming year.
