At Hillel we believe it is important to combine study with action. It is important to learn principles such as "Tzedek" (Justice) and "Tikkun Olam" (Repairing the World) but they must be translated into action. It is important to volunteer, but it must be done from a position of knowledge and understanding. Therefore, Hillel offers several volunteer opportunities which combine volunteering in the community (for example, volunteering with Holocaust survivors, with the elderly or with immigrants) along with study sessions which offer enrichment and reflection.
During the year, will will organize volunteering days in collaboration with OneDay Social Volunteering
organization and others. Details about these days will be published in the upcoming weeks.
If you wish to be involved , please contact Dima, firstname.lastname@example.org.
