Remember and Honor (Zachor v'Kabed) is a nationwide program, active at five Hillel centers in the country. The program is based on three pillars of involvement: learning, volunteering and leadership.
The students meet every two weeks for an intense study session in order to learn and discuss issues related to the Holocaust and remembrance. All students also volunteer on a weekly basis with Holocaust survivors, keeping them company, helping them run errands and more. In addition, throughout the year, all students initiate, plan and implement educational public awareness-raising events, reaching thousands of other students on campus.
The program is supported by the Conference on Jewish Material Claims Against Germany.
